WoodUbend Mouldings are decorative wooden mouldings, with a difference. When cool, they have all the properties of wood and can be sanded, stained, drilled, distressed, painted – in fact whatever you can do with wood, you can do with WoodUbend. Any good quality wood glue is great to use with WoodUbend. We like to use Titebond or Gorilla Glue. Do not use Super Glue or PVA, they are not suitable.
You can heat WoodUbend in numerous different ways. The fastest way to heat your wood moulding is to use a heat gun, keeping it moving in circular motions. You can even use a hair dryer if you like, though this will take a little longer. It’s important to keep moving your heat source in circular motions without touching the WoodUbend so it doesn’t burn. A sausage griddle is ideal to keep your wood mouldings warm whilst working on a project. Learn more about the different methods of heating your WoodUbend here.
